The Board of Directors of The Community Health Network of Connecticut, Inc. has named Sylvia B. Kelly as its chief executive officer and Rosemary C. Johnson as chief financial officer. Ms. Kelly, a Southington resident, comes from HealthChoice of Connecticut, where she was vice president and executive director for its HUSKY program. As a graduate of Indiana University, she completed her undergraduate studies and received a master's degree in public affairs. Johnson, who resides in Bolton, is a graduate of the University of Hartford earning her master's degree in accounting. She was most-recently operations manager for the Stop Loss division of United Health Care Group. The Community Health Network is a not-for-profit managed care organization owned and operated by a consortium of Connecticut-based federally-qualified health centers. It has 40,000 members who are enrolled in the state's HUSKY A (Medicaid) and HUSKY B managed care programs.
