Dana Silva Joins Naugatuck Savings Bank

Dana Silva has joined Naugatuck Savings Bank as Vice President, Controller. In this role, Mrs. Silva is responsible for overseeing the Accounting Dept. which primarily performs all financial reporting and controls, regulatory reporting, budgeting and coordinating external audits and certain aspects of the regulatory exams for Nutmeg Financial, MHC and its subsidiaries Naugatuck Savings Bank and the John M. Sutherland, Inc. insurance agency."Dana's vast experience in Accounting will enable her to maintain and improve the companies system of internal controls and accurately report Nutmeg Financial's financial condition" said David Rotatori, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. "Mrs. Silva ensures our Accounting staff is thorough and accurate which facilitates her ability to manage our accounting functions in the most precise manner."
Prior to joining Naugatuck Savings Bank, Dana Silva was Vice President, Accounting at Webster Bank in Waterbury. She received a BS degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University. Dana volunteers as an Auditor for First Congregational Church and a Mentor for Linden Elementary School. She lives in Southbury with her husband Jesse and daughter Madisyn.
