November 15, 2010

Diane Dornfried-Jacobson has joined Naugatuck Savings Bank as a Mortgage Originator. In this role, Ms. Dornfried-Jacobson will specialize in assisting customers with first-time homebuyer programs such as those offered through the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority as well as our traditional mortgage programs.

Dornfried-Jacobson previously served as Mortgage Originator at McCue Mortgage and Mortgage Officer for American Savings Bank, both in New Britain. She has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

"Diane's many years of experience working with mortgages will be a major asset to our first-time homebuyers," said Bruce Noe, VP, Sr. Residential Loan Officer. "In addition to her work with first-time buyers, Diane's overall knowledge of the market will allow her to assist current homeowners as well."

Ms. Dornfried-Jacobson holds a bachelor degree in English from Quinnipiac University. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and is Vice President of the Berlin Lions Club. Dornfried-Jacobson is a native of Kensington where she resides with her husband Frederick and son James Russo.

Locally owned, the bank is committed to helping individual customers as well as the community at large. Naugatuck Savings Bank offers personal banking, business banking and financial services at its 15 branch locations.
