Lawrence McGoldrick, President of Castle Bank & Trust Company, has announced the appointment of Kathleen Hewitt as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the bank. She joined the bank at its inception in April, 1999 following more than 20 years of service at the former CBT and Fleet Bank in various Trust and Branch Management positions. Mrs. Hewitt is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University and the Williams School of Banking. She is active in many community organizations, including the Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce Town Criers, the United Way of Meriden and Wallingford, the Boys and Girls Club of Meriden and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Mrs. Hewitt lives in Meriden with her husband Howard, and their daughters, Katie and Sarah.
