Description: The Meriden-Wallingford NAACP Health Fair Committee presents Get Out & Play, A Family Helth Fitness Fun Day. Enjoy games, music, food, activities, health prevention information.

 L.A. Hair Cut-A-Thon

Description: L.A. Hair & Company will hold a cut-a-thon to benefit the Spanish Community of Wallingford. Adult hair cuts are $20 and children are $10. This event also includes a moonwalk, face painting, raffle, music and more!

Travelers Championship, which will be held at TPC River Highlands from June 22-28.

 Chamber Young Business Leaders Committee Meeting

Description: As one of the newest committees affiliated with the Chamber, members of the Young Business Leaders come together to engage in community life and expand professional and social opportunities. This group is geared toward professionals between the ages of 21 and 39 however the young at heart are always welcome. All committee chairs and officers must be between the ages of 21-39. We welcome new members to serve as ambassadors for the Central Connecticut area.

YBL meetings are held twice per month, including a morning business meeting held at the Midstate Chamber of Commerce and an evening social meeting held at various restaurants throughout the local area. Each meeting poses the opportunity to meet new people and develop projects that enrich our community.
