 Bobblehead Series: Bridgeport Sound Tigers

At Webster Bank Arena

Description: For the first time in team history, the Sound Tigers will offer a four part bobblehead giveaway series, which begins on Saturday, December 16th, with the Christmas "Santa" version of the team's mascot, "Storm," courtesy of Newtown Savings Bank. Other bobblehead giveaways during the 2017-18 season will include Devon Toews (Jan 20th) and players to be named on Feburary 25th and April 8th. The first 2,500 fans in attendance each day will receive the limited edition bobbleheads.

 Anime Club at the Library

Description: Are you a fan of anime, manga or just like Japanese culture? All are welcome whether you’re an otaku or just discovering anime and manga.

 AAC Introduces New Recovery Allies Group!

Description: Be a part of our first Recovery Allies Group, beginning this month! Recovery Allies is a welcoming, honest support group created just for the families and friends of people struggling with addiction.

Recovery Allies is a free community service offered by American Addiction Centers. With coast-to-coast treatment options and a “whole person” approach to long-term recovery, American Addiction Centers has spent decades helping people recover from drug and alcohol addiction in specialized healing environments across the country.  Military Appreciation Night: Bridgeport Sound Tigers

Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 7:00 PM
At Webster Bank Arena

Description: The Sound Tigers will honor the heroes of the United States military, both past and present, with Military Appreciation Night, presented by Better Business Bureau Serving Connecticut. The first 2,000 fans will receive a camouflage baseball cap and the Sound Tigers will sport special military-style jerseys that will be available at a silent auction on the concourse. All veterans and active duty personnel will receive a free ticket at the Webster Bank Click It or Ticket Box Office and military families can also receive discounted tickets. In addition, the Service Leaders of Tomorrow tournament will take place all weekend long.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr./Albert Owens Scholarship Breakfast with proceeds to assist exemplary young people achieve their educational goals. Keynote Speaker will be Rev. All Boy Scout troops are also invited to skate on the Webster Bank Arena ice before the game and sleep over afterwards. Discount tickets to all boy scout troops.

 Pink in the Rink: Bridgeport Sound Tigers

Description: The overall theme is bigger than the game itself. The Sound Tigers will celebrate Pink in the Rink, benefitting breast cancer research, with a pre-game wine-tasting party at Webster Bank Arena. A special ticket package is available that includes access to the game, access to the tasting party and a souvenir wine glass for $30.

 The "I Love My Library" Dinner

Description: The Friends of the Meriden Public Library will sponsor a "I Love My Library" Dinner. Proceeds will benefit the Library Building and Renovation Fund.
