Description: Gallery 53 presents Pigments of Your Imagination featuring a reception on February 3rd from 12 noon to 2 pm. Show includes categories of Paintings (oil, aculic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media), Photography, and Drawing. The Judge will be Bonnie Potter.

 Recovery Allies Support Group for Adults With Loved Ones Dealing w/ substance abuse.

Description: Introducing down-to-earth support groups for the adult family and friends of people struggling with substance abuse.

Recovery Allies is a free community service offered by American Addiction Centers. With coast-tocoast treatment options and a “whole person” approach to long-term recovery, American Addiction Centers has spent decades helping peopleecover from drug and alcohol addiction in specialized healing environments across the country.

The event is the main fundraiser for the Sanford S. Shorr Education Awards that are given annually to area students. To date, over $117,000 has been awarded to help our future leaders further their education.

 It’s Time to Revisit How We Approach Sexual Harassment Prevention in the Workplace

Description: "It’s Time to Revisit How We Approach Sexual Harassment Prevention in the Workplace." This seminar is broght to you by the Human Resources Roundtable of the Midstate Chamber of Commerce.

In an interactive session, Mr. Chris Brigham, UKS, will discuss the evolution of sexual harassment in the workplace from the U.S. Supreme Court’s recognition of claims of sexual harassment as a form of discrimination over thirty years ago to the current day where once again sexual harassment is in the forefront of the news. Mr. Brigham will provide an overview of the legal requirements and best practices for sexual harassment prevention and lead a discussion on the current trends and recommendations for improving our approach to sexual harassment prevention.
